This SP Series Roto-Phase has been designed to provide desired amperes and voltages for submersible pump applications. The design is based on information and performance data established through exhaustive testing using a submersible pump manufactured by Franklin Electric, Bluffton, Indiana. The SP Series uses no tapped windings or capacitor adjustments and is simple to install. The SP Series Roto-Phase is available with automatic controls.

3-phase submersible pump motors require closely balanced amperes and voltages. To obtain this performance, where 3-transformer, 3-phase service is not available or practical a special rotary phase converter is required. Just any phase converter will not do and special care is mandatory to avoid loss of pump warranty. The Series CSP Roto-Phase is compact, completely prewired and ready to use. Incorporates magnetic starter and time delay relay allowing the Roto-Phase to energize 5 to 15 seconds before pump motor energizes. Eliminates maintenance and phase balancing of the pump motor. Designed for unmanned lift stations, water pressure systems, and similar applications using a submersible pump motor. Weatherproof fiberglass enclosures are available upon request.
